Just one more day until the Weekend!

I have no plans and I like it. I can spend all day reading, writing or on some sort of crafty project and I don't have to do anything other than my laundry. I like having the freedom to do as I please and not deal with "so and so needs this or you have to go do that ( Read more... )

That's awesome to hear that you have a relaxing weekend coming up and I say do a little of all of the above! Also, fabulous on the calmness retention, though how exactly could folks make a drama out of yoga class? People confuse me, but snow is pretty so enjoy it while it's there!

The drama part of the yoga class comes in when a new person joins the class and starts bad mouthing one of the long time regulars about stuff that happened in high school which was over 20 years ago and should have stayed in high school. The new woman also seems to bring a very negative feeling to class, I know she is in the class to try to reduce her stress level but it seems like she's just bringing or making it for the rest of us, it's really sort of disturbing and it's messing with the flow of the class.

I'm going to try and squeeze in a little crafting and I found a link to one of the local craft groups that is holding a swap meet in April so maybe I can find a home for the crafty stuff I don't do anymore and pick up stuff I want to try. In the meanwhile I'm baking cookies, having a cup of chai and reading some fics because it makes me smile. Have a great day!

Wow. That never would have occurred to me. I can't wrap my mind around people who aren't able to move past high school. Stupid stuff happens in high schools - teenagers are like that, but then in theory we all grow up...or not. Unfortunately, someone who is very stuck on negative energy can be quite a drain. I hope the class does either help her very quickly or she gets bored of it so the rest of you can go back to building positive energy.

That's super fabulous about the craft swap meet. I hope you find some nifty things to try out there! Super awesome on the cookie baking, as well. Aside from a batch of cupcakes, I haven't done a lot of baking outside of bread and its cousins, but I just did a carrot cake yesterday and it was super fun. And chai and fic reading sound like a lovely way to spend the time!

This week the drama seemed to be dialed down a bit, but we'll see...

Cupcakes? yummy! I just found a recipe for ginger cupcakes with a marscapone icing I can't wait to try. How did the carrot cake turn out?
