Major congrats on getting a story posted and the last gifts bought! But ugh on the family business.

Family is wonderful. I live with mine, too. It makes way more economic sense and, luckily, mine are lovely. But even I have to constantly chase my father out of the office. He respects what I do, but doesn't understand writing well enough to get that when it's writing time I need everyone out of my hair.

But if we didn't share the same ideals or they didn't respect my time and space...that would definitely get old quick. I hope your family soon finds a way to entertain (and drive!) themselves.

I think that family stuff was easier to handle when I was 8 hours west of here, LOL. I am lucky that they like to travel in the winter so two days after Christmas they leave to visit a number of relatives in LA, GA, FL, TN and AL and don't come back until some time in March or April depending on the snow fall here.

As for the driving issue my niece has a car and a license but my sister isn't comfortable with her driving herself yet, so I'm the cool aunt that takes her places mom doesn't want her to go to on her own... as she get more experience I'm sure it'll get easier.
