After talking to my sister, my mother and the school I plan on attending I have come to the conclusion that even if I can't attend this year there is nothing stopping me from moving back to New York and getting a job there while I wait for everything to come together

Sounds like your weekend issue isn't slowing you down any. Just don't push yourself too much and definitely keep those appointments just to verify there's nothing that needs taking care of.

I was going to ask if they know you're leaving at work. It's going to be their worry soon.

I'm glad your plans are coming together and you'll be back home soon. I think you've made huge steps in a very short time in getting yourself there.

I think the weekend issue is actually spurring me forward a bit, if something were to happen I want to be closer to my family. I've had a few close calls but those happened while I was still with D and his family stepped up and now I'm feeling a bit vulnerable so it's more incentive.

When I have a for sure date I'll give them as much notice as I can but last time they suspected I was leaving I started getting a lot more crap dumped on my desk, I want to get the project I'm doing now done and over with before I go without starting new ones.

I think the hardest part was scrapping enough courage and confidence together to actually do it. Change sucks but sometimes you have to just do it, I'm scared I'm going to screw up something.
