I think someone realized she made an error… I have fancy chocolate and a bottle of very nice wine to show for it, I think it’s her way of saying sorry I goofed without actually having to admit anything

I can work around the bathroom situation but dad does seem to like taking a long time in there sometimes... I need to talk to them and I still haven't heard back from the school... it's just nice having some sort of direction.
Thanks! I'm hoping to get it all together and start in the fall... I am just waiting to hear from DCC so I can decide if I want to drive up and change my driver's license ASAP or if I should wait until spring, I should also talk to mom and dad about moving back in, they said it would be OK but I want to make sure as it's going to disrupt their lives a bit... Have a great weekend and stay warm!
I think it's giving me something to look forward too and I need that like I need a day where the temps are above freezing at this point. Now if the school would just get back to me...
I recognized it... and there are also grants for women over 40 going back, I just need to be ready to write some essays and such. Student loans won't kill me either since technically I have no other bills that will need paying and I am going to keep my NY and PA Insurance Brokers licenses in case I need to earn a little $. Worse comes to worse I've done the sewing for cash too and I've picked up some new skills including making clothing out of latex.... odd as it seems there is money to be had in the unusual skills that I've picked up since D and I split... I even got some modeling experience in the past few years.
I don't think you need to worry about the dorm thing. - a lot of people are going back to uni these day and I think most students would be mature enough to deal with that. Although, I think you might be happier in your own place off campus...I know I would. :-)
Well, I don't think that quite makes up for her behaviour, but I'm glad you're feeling a little better. Maybe she'll learn to treat her employees better in future.
I think I may just stay with my parent's for a while since that's free and I'm hoping now that I'm not a kid it'll be easier, that and now that they have retired they plan on traveling so I'll have the house to myself more. Once I graduate and get a job I'll worry about moving to an apartment again. To get this done I'm going to have to deal with a lot of change but it should be for the better in the end.
It used to be such a fun place to work, that was one of the reasons that I stayed when my ex and I split. We were all friends and I was treated like family but it seems to have changed over the past few years so it's time to move on.
Yeah, I think you're right. You don't have to love you job, but you should hate it, and you shouldn't be exploited like this. Definitely time to go, I think.
I think moving in with your folks is a great plan - free and convenient and you get to spend some time with them. And, if they are travelling, you get some time to yourself too. Sort everything else out first, then worry about finding a place of your own, I think. :-)
I actually think that by moving back I'd not only be helping myself but I'll be there to help do the things they shouldn't be doing anymore at their age... it's a win/win except for when it comes to dating and staying out late... mostly because their dogs like to bark a lot at noises during the night so I'll have to learn to be quiet... no that it's too much of an issue since I don't really date, LOL....
