About Japanese, as a learner myself, i tell you. Be careful with where you pick up your studying material and be very picky with the phonetics. That is hard to actually learn by yourself - with no real japanese assistance lol - and then is hard to loose if you learned it wrong. VERY.

fff yeah I did some research online beforehand to find out what most people agreed was the best book for learning it. I mostly want to learn how to read it.
