The carnal 3 of the OT have minor roles and so their characterizations can't be butchered.

A very big reason I don't have near the issues with these books that I do with the rest of post-RotJ EU. Though it's been about six years since I've even looked at them, so I have no idea if I'd like them as much now.

The books didn't exactly inspire me to write fanfic, but at the time they were certainly entertaining and most of the characters likable enough; I remember being bummed out when Falynn died. And the whole Lt. Kettch storyline was a hoot. :)

I too was sad when he died. I really liked him.

Lt. Kettch was such a funny running gag to include, LOL

LOL... I'm not sure we're thinking of the same person. That, or it's been so long that I've forgotten who's who... but I thought Falynn was a girl? From Tatooine?
