Just as I promised, here's a much needed update to how things have been going.

Uncle FrostyMy younger sister had her baby on Friday. She gave birth to a healthy baby boy, and a mighty big boy at that. He was born at 9lbs, 15.6oz, 22 inches. So it's no wonder that the baby wouldn't come out on its own. She had to go in for a C-section at the last ( Read more... )

I would... but the perks outweigh the sucks. 45K+/yr, uber health insurance...

...that's... all I can think of at the moment! :D

Not worth the price of your misery. Not at your age :)

You've got a point...

I wish I had a job that I have a future in, you know? It's something that I'm going to have to think about.

I'd go back to In-N-Out (they have the same health coverage), but there's no future for me there (unless I hit manager, which is 100K+/yr)

on the anniversary kick, definitely. I worry more about the big 'year' anniversaries than the smaller month-biased ones. Make '1' a good one! ^^

Congrats on the nephew!

And I agree that you need a new job, though I'd suggest waiting until you find a new one to quit this one!

If it could be something that would have me on my feet, I'd be happy...

Damn, it's been six months already? Where does the time go? Congrats to you guys, Frosty! =D

And yeah, wow. Job is ultimate fail. We get a lot of people like her at the store, but I'd never expect there to be such assholes at your job, too. I do agree with Tally, though, the stress levels of that place are definitely not worth the perks; I'm sure there's other places out there with benefits that are just as good or better, you just need to find 'em! Might also be a good time to upload your resume to a job site like Monster or CareerBuilder, yeah?
