Uh-oh - there's part of it revealed, but Santos still has quite a bit of 'splainin' to do. And I'm not sure just how much more he's screwed up things.

Now wait there Santos, Evan wasn't awake, how can he ..oh he wasn't fighting against it either. Evan is now a vampire? hmm He's immune, so he won't die from a little blood of the right vampire but maybe there's more then to a converting.

More and more it looks like there's some assessing going on to find possible immune humans. Like a list of organ donors, pick the one you want from a list of compatible individuals. Why else would a vampire be riding the subway?

Yes, how did Ilya know that Evan was the one? It does seem appropriate that Ilya would find allies in a far away place (Arizona? to go shopping for vampires *giggling*) because they were just cannon fodder.

So many questions and conjectures, need so many answers.
