Just... the way Zakhar keeps making references (first Super Mario Brothers and then Alice in Wonderland-what a wacky mix) and Evan's snarky comments on his situation make me smile. pffft Princess Toadstool. If I were good enough of an artist to do these characters justice I'd want to scribble that one out just for the lulz.

So, ah. Wow, Santos. Messy story there, apparently. Evan's got sort of the right idea, I think. Take a shower, grab some booze, get toasted.

Probably not. (To the threesome) But then again, you never know. In my head, Zakhar isn't attached to anyone. (Which is a bit of a surprise. Even a minor character that doesn't get introduced until chapter 7 has an OTP) I don't even know if he's gay or straight. He's just... Zakhar. He'll do what he wants when he feels like it. And if Santos and Evan invited him to bed, I don't think he'd turn them down.

... actually. I imagine sex with Zakhar would involve a lot of laughter and surprises.

No. no no can't leave it here. This is a mild cliffhanger considering but when taken against the backdrop of the action earlier it hurts to be left here.

I take exception to a blow to the belly done by a vampire for it not to have seriously involved a trip to the hospital for a splenectomy. Maybe Zakhar pulled his punch which makes sense as vampires must be use to moderating their abilities.. then again is vampire strength canon in this universe? Ripping a head off a vampire by another vampire *raises eyebrows* would not support the lack of superior strength.

I'm hoping that Ilya didn't get killed. Zakhar to lose his twin in spite of his loyalty to Santos would hard to fathom. But then Zakhar as he says, “Oh, yes. We’re all mad here.” Zakhar is fun and impossibly so was Ilya. Is it possible for Stockholm Syndrome to take place with a fictional (he IS fictonal isn't he?)character?

Considering Evan is still alive and has a working stomach, yes, Zakhar pulled his punch. :) .... otherwise this chapter would have ended with a roasted Zakhar in the middle of the road and in an emergency room.

But it CAN be left there. xD you'll see why. It just would have been even more cruel to cut it off later.

As far as I know, Ilya and Zakhar are fictional. But I'll let you know if that changes. I am completely sure that Stockholm is possible with fictional characters. I'm of the mind that that's what happened with the Twihards.
