Retribution can be more dangerous. *nods* 'You killed the one I love so I kill yours.' I can't see Santos as maliciously killing people.
Wow. Evan got dropped into vampire politics.

So could everyone tell that Evan was a possible Santos mate way back at his public transport rescue by vampire incident? Evan 'was' surprised to see a vampire on the public transport. Was Santos at the House to meet Evan clever manuevering? Am I going to choke the author with too many questions like a little kid?
If Ilya is blond then who was the redhead?
*self control attempt*

Mwuhahaha. Your questions, your curiosity, your anticipation, they feed me!

Vampire politics is right. Although it's more like a... family feud, than anything.

What, me, dropping hints? Not at all.

Wow! That's interesting...mate, uh? make some sense of the strange things (exchanging emails it's more than meet up for one night sex), but how Santos knew? then the House was not just simply sex for blood, but a mean to look for compatible mate? I think you said something about blood tests, eh...
Thanks.

It shall all make sense, I swear.

But hey, if you're confused, imagine the thoughts going through Evan's head. >;D

Mm, I love how Evan's taking stock of everything and having thoughts I would probably have in that situation. Can't wait for more and to find out what vampire pile of crap he's landed in!

;D Well, Evan's a witty boy. He may be drugged, tied up and still 0 for 0, but no one can take his snark away!

Dear God, he’d ended up in a crossover between a James Bond flick and an Anne Rice novel. The only thing missing was a shark tank.

I absolutely loved this line. Made my day^^. Considering his rather dire situation, Evan is surprisingly calm and collected. I like the "taking it as it comes" attitude he has even when kidnapped by a sexy vampire with a grudge. And oh, I'm really wondering what Santos is planning to do now, after all his careful preparations have become obsolete. You're building up a lot of tension and suspence here, and at the same time manage to keep the atmosphere light and humorous (I don't know better words to describe it, hope it makes sense).
Keep up the wonderful work!

Evan's a smart boy. He figures panicking isn't really going to help, plus -- it calms him down somewhat that Ilya is so... relatively pleasant. Much easier to handle.

Santos is going to lay the smackdown. Not even kidding.

I'm glad I manage to keep it both light and suspenseful. ;D that's my goal!

Well, that's not good...

A little confused, though: maybe I need to go back and reread, but I'm not sure why having a coven in and of itself is a bad thing. But I can be patient and wait to find out.
