What it's going on here? There was some strange hesitation in the previous chapter: what, with the hole 3 weeks before he was called back by the House, then he had to wait, even if he had an appointement, I think i remember some strange look they gave him...now he was followed? But, I'm glad he called Santos! *smirk* they are pretty direct in their conversation, but then he was honest in the what he was interested about with this whole assignation!
I was glad to see a new chapter ;-) I wonder what it is The House? because it seems they don't have "service" at hand, then Santos was able to just up and go...

Wonder if the House has some monitoring system for client/vampire involvement off their premises. Not a good thing if your blood donors decide to go monogamous. Would cut into profits plus the problems of public perception. It's all well and good for people to play but you don't want them setting up house with each other. That would be immoral.

*smiles* Evan has it bad. He didn't even react to being called 'Pretty Baby'. Santos can't be much better, in spite of possible vampire speed which has not be declared in this 'verse. He answered mid ring without an 'Evan Who' moment.
*whimpers to get the author to write and post faster*

Your questions shall have answers when Evan gets them. :) ... which is to say, in about six chapters. and lets just say Evan doesn't like the answers he receives.

The vampires in this universe are fast, but not faster-than-the-eye-can-follow. But let's just say there's a lot of reasons why there aren't any vampires in the Olympics. Which is a pity, since I bet ratings would go up.

I really really like where this is going. Evan is awesome, and I have a burning to desire to see Santos the way you visualize him (like you did with Terry & Kay in Take in the Show).

Yes, he called! Santos is obviously very interested in Evan, I wonder if this has something to do with all the vampires that follow our harmless, helpless human eye candy^^. Or if there is something more serious behind it.
The interactions between Santos and Evan are as entertaining as always, and thankfully without any overused denial/angst/ I can't crush on a vampire woe is me feelings. It's fun reading this story! Looking forward to the next chapter.
