re civil war : oh thank God that means I don't fail it too much, I went kind of "bwuh ? Independance war was civil war ? ... yeah, I guess, okay ?" xD (Though last time I tried to explain Hetalia to a friend, I managed to tell her England fought to gain his independance from the US. She stared at me and went "... no." XD)

rofl. xD I'd like to blame it on the fact that I wrote this at 2 in the morning (back to back immediately with the twincest drabble, because apparently I was inspired to write random shite.) but.. yeah, no. Berry is pretty fail. Which is ridiculous because all they teach is five minutes of Revolutionary war and then about six years of the Civil war and WW2. (WW1? Whuz that? Vietnam? Korea? When did we get into a fight with Canada? Huh? Are we only teaching the wars we won now?)

I'm so damn ashamed that I honest to god somehow ended up in not a SINGLE HISTORY CLASS that actually went into anything aside from Revolutionary (briefly) and the other two. Maybe I just had shitty luck and always changed schools right before they started discussing those wars. It could be, but honestly I've learned more about American history from romance novels than from a history class.
