[something she hasn't seen since that brief detour to the southern tip of the world. It makes her miss home like nothing else. That won't stop her from throwing on her heavier cloak and standing outside in the light snowfall, hands extended as if to catch the flakes.]

First snowfall of the year? It'll probably stay, and it'll probably snow some more in the next few weeks. It's really pretty, isn't it?

That doesn't make it much better. That sounds kind of scary...we've never had to deal with a lot of snow before. I don't know how we'd do it.

I guess that's true. We've got a good support base here. [She's looking up at the sky again to watch the snow.] I wonder if the boys even realize it's snowing yet.

They will soon. ...You know, as long as you wear warm enough clothing and don't stay out for too long, winter is fun. [In case you tropical island types were unsure about that.]

I'm not too worried. Riku's usually okay with the snow, even if he doesn't like to stay out long. And Sora was here at the tail-end of last winter so he should be fine, too. Besides there's so much you can do with the snow, I can't imagine it getting old. Snowmen and everything...I think we need a little more than this though.

Makes everything seem more peaceful. If it's snowing though, I wonder if that means the rivers and lakes are freezing up already.

They shouldn't be. It takes longer for moving water to freeze, and even a still lake will take a while.

I guess we'll be waiting a little longer before we try ice-skating then. Better to find out now than before somebody tries and falls through.

I'm not going to make you do that. We'll just wait...maybe we'll make a small party out of it or something for the whole village.
