More Highlander watchery. Duncan and Methos slay me with their cuteness. Have just been watching the episode where Duncan gets Methos to pretend to attack an Immortal called Robert in order to convince Robert's wife Angela that she still loves him. You must be watching the series. I think Adrian Paul is the handsomest thing on two legs give or take an Orlando Bloom or two.

You are full of rightness, both on the TV series and the gorgeousness of Adrian Paul, though Orlando Bloom doesn't do much for me in anything but a "Oh, he'd look pretty hot doing the Funky Monkey Tango with Johnny Depp" way. And who wouldn't?

Highlander series was a kind of "congratulations on finishing your dissertation" gift to myself. My brother and I used to watch it religiously as kids, but I'd all but forgotten it until a couple of months ago. I've seen a couple of the movies, but even that one with Methos and Duncan in couldn't resign me to watching an hour and a half of Christopher Lambert being annoying.

The Funky Monkey Tango? Darn, I missed that! Was that during Pirates of the Caribean?(however you spell that silly word!)

The only thing I don't get about the series is they say there can be only one...but there is a bunch of immortals floating around. And yeah, Christopher Lambert is more than annoying to me...I don't like to look at him for some reason. He always looks like he's constipated or something.

FMT is just another euphamism for hot man-on-man sexification. But yes, it blatently occured during POTC. With the homoerotic sword-stroking nonsense, how could it not?

I don't see how there can be only one, since even if you killed all the millions of Immortals that exist Right Now, there's all those pre-Immortals noodling around having absolutely no idea what they are.

Christopher Lambert looks like a frog. Seriously. He could be Kenneth Branaugh's even more annoying, even less talented twin brother.
