Dudes, I have discovered the most beautiful book in the history of mankind: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. As you may infer from the title, it is literally Pride and Prejudice rewritten to include zombies. And, in a couple of instances, ninjas. And it is lovely! Colin Firth should totally return as Mr Darcy for the zombilicious TV version of it ( Read more... )

I totally agree - loved it!! I'm currently reading Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters - and I'm loving it even more than P&P&Z. :D

(And while I may not have been commenting, can I just say that your entries are hysterical!! Sadly, I live a sheltered life and haven't seen most of the shows you're talking about, so difficult to add anything to the discussion. :( )

I have totally added SSSM to my list of "things to buy on my next non-Halloween-related bout of Amazon shopping", so I should get to it around mid-December.

(Surely a sheltered life provides ample time for the watchery of such wonders as Carnivale? That is why God gave us Blockbuster, after all).

Dude................... YOU'VE NEVER READ TWILIGHT!

not got round to P&P and zombies yet but I did see Dorien Grey and you;'re right for a change.. it was dissapointing, Colin Firth did however rock the socks off of the whole film so it was worth it just for him, plus I had krispy kreme donuts to keep me pccupied during the yawnsome debauchery which they felt the need to reshow every 5 minutes

I don't need to fall in a septic tank to know it's full of shit, either.

Ben Barnes suckes at debauchery. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Stuart Townsend in LXG was a way more fun version of Dorien.

I only mean in the context of playing Dorian, not in anything else. I'm not advocating for a Townsendalicious Voyage of the Dawn Treader or anything. That would be almost Clivelike in it's horror.
