I do not see Jake and Russ as a lasting couple. Jake is probably too much of a try-hard for a slacker like Russ. Plus Jake would get mad that Russ kept burning stuff all the time - he'd be all, "Dude, I am trying to save America, stop setting fire to shit!" And then Russ would get mad and explode himself with white phosphorous. Mister Hawkins would stand in the background looking distainful.
