#2:
- Good natural colouring, and good use of lighting to bring out the foreground.
- nice clear coloring.

#6:
- Flawless b/w work here - very nice contrast, good sharpness (which I know wasn't easy with that cap).
- great contrast and focus

Thanks for bringing me this far! I'm not surprised (I had more difficulty with these caps than I anticipated I would). :)

Thanks so much for participating in this round :). It was a pleasure to have you.

#3:
- the icon seems blurry overall, and the colouring is a bit flat and slightly too cyan.
- The crop is great, but the icon seems blurry around her cheeks, and then over sharpened in the right corner.
- The coloring is very nice but the center crop and lack of textures seem to make it a bit uninteresting.
- poor image quality (she's blurry) and her nose is very over-brightened, it looks white.
- Dax is a bit blurry in the face, especially around her cheeks and eyes.

#7:
- the icon is quite dark (especially in her face) and blurry.
- It's too dark (needs more Brighten/Contrast) and a bit too blurry.
- The crop is good but the black and white looks a bit too gray (there's not really a "white" per say in it) makes the icon fade into the background.
- blurry, and she kind of gets lost, because the contrast is low - she blends into the background.
- The B&W needs more contrast and sharpening.

#1:
- the crop works well, as does the soft background.
- Pretty colors, great use of negative space. I love blurred background.
- The greenish texture is a little overwhelming in this icon, and makes her features appear a little fuzzy.
- I really like the green, and the texture in the background, but her face is too yellow. It makes her look sick - keeping it more pink would add more contrast with the background as well.
- The coloring is great and the use of the texture in the back works really well.
- love the background colours; they frame Dax beautifully.

#5:
- Nice job removing the background, beautiful sharpness, and I really like the focus on the gun.
- Great colouring, but the background is a little plain/jarring on this one; maybe a little texture or changing the lighting up a bit might help blend everything together and make the icon feel a little more cohesive.
- Coloring is very nice but the area around her right ear is too sharp while her left side is blurry.
