1.) No, you are not supposed to eat kiwi skins.
2a.) I feel the same way about smells as you do tastes.
2b.) An appropriate estrofa from "Recuerdo de Barcelona en el tercer año de su muerte" again by Max Aub:

Te quiero más que te quería
porque estando más lejos
la distancia acrecienta
la memoría mía.

3.) I'm taking you up on that promise.
4.) Can't wait to see you tomorrow night.

1) But dollface, they're delicious! Besides, I kind of like being able to eat a fruit in its entireity. It makes me feel charmingly environmental, or something of sorts - non-waste producing, at any rate.
2a) Smells get me as well. There is a smell that I get, every so often, walking outside of bakeries. I don't know what makes it, but it takes me back to my very earliest memories as a child. Smells, aye, they're great.
2b) He's amazing.
3) Another tomorrow, je vous promais.
4) Me neither!

Pinker is cool;
I haven't felt like writing you back but will eventually (don't think it means more than it does; I apologize);
I'm inclined to agree about Marquez.

- more or less (i have some friends who had him as a professor at harvard, and apparently he's a bit full of himself) - but in hi sbooks, atleast, he's kind of lovely.
- excellency! i'd be a fool if, at this point, i was still presuming things about you, in what concerns actions or inactions. no worries; i've so-long been benevolently resigned to your being beyond our comprehension, that you're well past the realm of interpretation, whether semi-charmed or malicious. it's a good deal, i suppose, very munchausen; "if i live oblivious to the laws of nature for long enough, they will eventually cease to apply to me altogether" ;)
- ah, good! cheers, kid.
