I think of "Pursuit of or devotion to pleasure, especially to the pleasures of the senses" as generally meaning the last definition.

[Shocked]: I'm not???

(Hahahahaha...eh...if we're talking about physical, sexual pleasure, and you're asking me if I ever prefer physical pleasure to learning...what the hell kind of question is that? Of course. I mean, it comes around in waves, but I'd say several times every fortnight? I mean, I'm not really sure what you're asking here... Seperately, I don't think learning and your-definition-of-hedonism have to go apart. I do recall a time, amny years ago, in which I explained some of Napoleon's early campaigns on a nude body. The arrival at Pisa was fun.)

(Upon closer reflection, that's also how I learnt the parts of the body auf Deutsch. Ha.)

"Welcome to Washington, the chocolate city with a marshmallow center...and a graham-cracker crust of corruption..."; I also can't believe that Valerie Plame was there...wow...

As for questions, well, you're getting 'em anyway:

1. What do you do to concentrate / focus whilst studying?
2. You can go back to any period, pre-1945. Which / why?
3. Where you not in Madrid, had you not come here - where would you be, what would you be doing?
4. You can get true love, but only if you completely give up your dignity. Would you do it?
5. What do you want to name your kids?

"Make, announce, type...just put em through a spellcheck and go home." I knew you'd like it. I think the glacier quote is my favorite. Alright, answers will be attempted on my next LJ post.

I also want to kind of do this with you, so whether you wanted to participate or not:

1) Right. Napoleon invades Madrid, and the Madrileños spill out onto the streets to battle the invaders (as seen in the Goya paintings). My question is this: do you think that, place in that same situation, you would be capable of reacting in the same way and heading out to fight in the streets in the name of, ultimately, a king who hasn't done all that much for you, but also in the name of the general principle of the thing?
2) Would you ever settle back in Mother Russia?
3) Have any artists / movements / styles-of-animation particularly influenced your artwork?
4) Do you have a general interest in history, or is your affinity towards the little corporal some particular phenomenon?
5) If you could have a power, any power at all, in terms of traditional [or not] super-hero type stuff, what would it be?

1.) I am wholly unpolitical and thus am not sure if I would fight in the name of anything, anywhere. If my street was being invaded, I would probably hide under something, being not so brave as to stand up for my city. Especially against Napoleon ( ... )

1) Have you been having strange dreams lately?
2) How do you feel about William Tecumseh Sherman and the policy of total war?
3) How much weight do you lend to the term "virgin", and how much does the state of virginity / non-virginity matter to you?
4) Could you ever, for whatever reason, kill another human being; if so, how do you imagine that you'd react afterwards?
5) Name three ways in which you would particularly not want to die.

Brace-face: yes, kind-of, but no as well. I do like the idea of Justin fucking up the reception wherever he goes, though, and perhaps inadvertidly shocking people [electrically]. "My phone doesn't work!" / "So-ee, is mah mow."
