I remember Les Parapluies de Cherbourg made me so angry at first, or annoyed me or something. It was stange.
And you're in Madrid, how nice. Some days, perhaps like today, I wake up and wonder why I am not in Madrid. :)

That painting is by a Spanish artist named Ruth Gomez - if you saw Waking Life, her stuff is mainly like the animation in that film. There's a link to the exhibit in the third paragraph from the bottom, and that should get you to a couple of other paintings by her - I've googled her a few times, but so far I've gotten very few results. Her video stuff was cool - it was like that picture, but with alot of intense circular movement. Regards Taylor.
