you probably already know about this, but friday april 22nd there is a reading/reception at the elizabeth pierce olmstead auditorium (?) for a lady's book called "the colors of mehndi," it's a $5 encouraged donation and i think you have to make a reservation---i'm so going to go!
the number to call is 353-0246--it says it is a "peek into a pakistan-american woman's travails in culture, love and mental illness." sounds exciting, if possibly sort of a downer!
OR, if that doesn't sound cool, there are about 100 new movies out (okay, maybe 5) that actually look like they don't suck---"duck season," "land of plenty" "tsotsi," "the real dirt on farmer john," and i think "wings of desire" is playing tuesday at market arcade!
if any of that sounds like fun, i'm so in!!! saturday is no good, but monday night or tuesday atfternoon would be great! hopefully we can figure something out!
