Artwork.

I need to have some original artwork in my life. I could probably create some, but it wouldn't look half as good as a lot of the stuff out there.

I really like the artist, Kiriko Moth. This one in particular is really stunning:

Ohhh I've missed her (torreadora); I was so sad when she stopped updating bombay_gin :(. I'm glad to see she's still up to her amazing feats of artistry--just like a breath of fresh air. :)

:) do you mind if I friend you (I understand if you want to keep things low-key)? Apart from the amazing story driven art work you have going on as soon as I noticed your Labyrinth artwork--oof--I'm done for! I love Labyrinth, that made me monumentally happy you have no idea!

No, I sure don't mind. I put all my art up on DeviantArt, if you want to keep track of that.

Those artists are out of this world. And I know you love Audrey Kawasaki. I have no doubt that you could make art that satisfies you. Just try! I'd love to see what you come up with.

I still (still!) have to send you the one I did of you, with the swan round your neck. I don't know if it might be too close to a time you'd rather not drudge up. But I still get so many compliments on that one, which I attribute totally to your face. :)

I like your attraction to the pairing of people and animals. I do, too. Do you have favorite animals, ones that you identify with or find the most beautiful?

Yeah, I think my fear of things turning out crappy sometimes keeps me from trying at all, but I'm going to be brave and work on something. Even if it's small :)

No, I don't think it would drudge up anything. I've always loved that piece and if anything it really speaks to that time in my life. You make me blush with your compliments >.<

I love sea-life. They have this joint fragility and resiliency that amazes me. I like cuttlefish and seahorses and dolphins in particular, but most underwater life fascinates the heck out of me.

I love the first two!! I'm slowly collecting some original art - I have an Audrey Kawasaki print, and photo prints from two of my photographer friends. It's neat decorating our walls with all this art! :)

Yeah, I've always wanted to buy a bunch of prints from Deviant art. There's so many I like! I'd even like to get to the point where I can own some originals on canvas.

I'm not the most fantastic artist, but I like to surround myself with beauty, even if it's not my own :)

I know you take photos as well; we should organize some kind of art trade :) I've been meaning to ask; do you have a Flickr account?

Wow, those are awesome! The first one reminds me of Brandon Boyd from Incubus. <3
