No to unsturdy hands...

What they don't tell you is that real life can be a lot like the movie "Groundhog Day", except you grow older. The tedium of waking up and going to the same place and working with the same people day in and day out can be like a grinding stone, wearing you down smaller and smaller, turning your life into a smooth groove until you no longer ( Read more... )

Your quarter-life crisis? A drastic change could be in order? Possibly you're having a rough coupla weeks and you need more banana ice cream in your diet?

Those kinds of feelings are scary and require, I think, a serious change of clothes. I wish I could help you figure out what to do, but maybe it helps just to know someone else knows.

You're still incredibly loved. We'll be your flotation device.

I've been having my quarter life crisis for the last five years haha...Although I think you're right about the ice cream thing ;)

I'm not...unhappy or depressed or even lost. I've always just been afraid of death and not getting what I want to get done. And I feel like most offices just can just become...sort of draining, which is the case with me.

Really, I think a change of scenery would do me good. It'll happen; I just have to patient.

Thank you :)

Bet you can book a cheap flight (har! I wrote "fright") to Honolulu. You won't have to pay for hotel or travel, since you'll be staying with me. Plus I'll feed you! And take you to the best beaches and jungles. Please seriously think about it. It's an excellent holiday, one of the most beautiful places in the world, you could knock Hawaii off your list of places to go, AND you could stay with me and let me brush your hair. I mean, come on now.

Ohhh, you hit all my weaknesses!

Actually I'd be interested in coming round this summer when I can get some time off and will actually have some money saved, if you'll have me?

I suppose the downside of feminism is that yes, we have choices - but choice can also be overwhelming and paralyzing. I have so much available to me and want to take on so much sometimes, I just want to curl into a ball.

A majority of us put our lives on hold for a time when we're slimmer, wealthier, etc - if that ain't the truth, I don't know what is!

Thank you :)

I went through this when I turned 25, I was in a job that I hated even though I got to work with my best friend, which was the only good thing about it. But I was still living at home and there just seemed to be so much that I hadn't done with my life that I thought I should have done by then. I guess that's why I finally just decided to go back to school to fix my professional life. I'm happy I did but I'm still kind of going through that whole crisis mode because I'm not in a relationship and I'm still living at home so I haven't fixed my personal life yet. But I guess what I'm saying is that I know what you're going through and that you're not alone.
