Mike had nothing to be ashamed of and he had never been shy about his body. Once upon a time, he had been shy about a lot of things, but he had always been active and athletic, his body wasn't on that list at all. He was lying on his back, naked, with his hands folded up behind his head right in the middle of a post-coital yawn. He could freely admit to being one of those guys who liked to take a nap after sex, but he was pretty sure Puck wasn't the snuggly type. With a sleepy nod, Puck listened to Mike's explanation. If he were honest with himself, he was damn near exhausted. Good sex was a hell of a workout anytime of day, but this time it had been mental as well as physical. It was a new thing, and Puck knew good and well that getting going too fast before he was ready would hurt like hell. And weirdly given his multiple hangups while waiting for the message to get through to his brain, as he lay there, head tucked sleepily against the crook of his own elbow, looking up at Mike, he felt pretty damn good.

"Yeah, I'm good," he replied. "Just... My ass hurts." The sheer obviousness of that statement was enough to make Puck laugh at himself, before shifting in place with a small wince. "That part gets better, right?" he asked. "Cuz if it doesn't, I'm not sure how regularly I'm gonna be able to get my gay on and rock it..."

Mike just smirked and reached over to pick up his phone to check for any messages and look at Facebook. "Do you seriously think any of us would do it as much as we did if it hurt all the time? Do you think Kurt would have ever gotten past his first time? First couple of times until you get used to it, sure. But even in a few hours, it'll ease. At lot of it is just the stigma of it. Sex hurts for everyone the first time you have a dick stuck into you, dudes or chicks. And for obvious reasons, it can hurt more if a guy is big. Sometimes the hurt gives others guys a thrill. More foreplay helps, too. You can never have enough of that ( ... )

Watching Mike check his phone actually made Puck laugh just a little bit. And in a lot of ways, it made what nerves he did feel coming into this a little less intense. Of course, getting off had helped that, too... But any and all awkward he could imagine pretty much died right there when Mike picked up his cell. "Dude, you really know how to make a guy feel special," Puck joked, his hand darting out to give Mike a little shove. He found himself seriously relieved when Mike assured him that with time, it wouldn't hurt as much. "Well, Tina was right about one thing," he added, pulling a pillow down and tucking it under his arms and head so he could prop himself up a little better. "That rumor about Asian dudes is bullshit."

"I'm not gonna freak out," Puck reassured him. "Pretty sure if I was gonna do that, it would've been earlier on... Like way early." Mike's question was a valid one, but Puck shrugged.
