Admiral; may I ask you a few things regarding my situation and possible future in Starfleet?

Well, obviously I'm not going to be a full officer after only completing a year. Sure I could probably be fully trained when it comes to engineering, but everything else, I'd need more time. I was considering doing the full four years now, but then...well, I have certain commitments here, and all, as you know.

However, once we're done here, would I be allowed to reattend the academy?

And...I was even thinking, that perhaps after. Well, I was considering command school, too.

It's possible. Command School is a commitment by itself and isn't easy by any stretch of the imagination.

Of course not. I would never think it to be easy. But interesting, most definitely.
