Why would anybody want to read her memoirs?

Is there going to be a chapter entitled, "Skank It Up?"

What amazes me is that it's a "Christian publisher" that was publishing the memoirs. The mind boggles. I would hardly have described Lynne Spears as a model Christian parent in 1999, let alone now.

I laughed when I saw her book was delayed indefinitely. Just as hard as I laughed when I originally saw the Christian publisher thing when they announced the book. The Spears are a mind-boggling thing. I guess I don't really understand why one would want to air ones dirty underwear (or lack there of) in public the way they do.
It does make for a good train wreck.

Sigh.

"But this is not what my daughter is going to do in her life. She knows better. She knows right and wrong."

Almost all the quotations indicate that the speakers think Jamie Lynn having sex makes her bad and wrong and that just depresses me. Not that I'd be thrilled if I had a sexually active teenage daughter, but that's because sex is risky, not because having sex makes you a bad person.

At least some of the teenagers appear to recognize this as the shite it is.
