You guys. I think I'm falling in love... with Ron Paul. o.O (OMG, I tuned in to watch Mittens and Mr. Toad eat each other, and stayed for the tiny little man who doesn't want to nuke Iran and Cuba too while we're up. Ahhh!)

I'm torn between wishing we could be so lucky as to have Newt win and go up against Obama, and being terrified he might WIN and like... decide to nuke France in a fit of pique.

In my poli sci class tonight the professor jumps from discussing English common law and historical jurisprudence to "so about the election..." A black classmate piped up that Ron Paul is right on about the economic issues but he's racist. But still right.

I missed the debate. I'm sad. I need my daily dose of Newt explaining how much smarter he is and wise he and how I'm just an idiot protester who doesn't understand history.

I pretty much agree with your classmate! Except I don't even like his economic solutions as much as I think he's good at identifying the problems? But I can't help but love him for wanting to end the drug war and trying to get Americans to *think* about what our country's actions must look like from the outside. Sigh.

I refuse to watch the GOP debates in part because raaage, and in part because it'll make me sad to see Ron Paul being THE LEAST AWFUL PERSON.
