I'll be at 37 hours when I arrive this morning. I've been calling this my long day (8am-7pm), but since yesterday I worked 7:45-6:30, today is only going to be 15 minutes longer.
Christmas turned out to be not that bad. Getting up in the morning killed me, but the day got much better as it went on. Went to bed early, but couldn't sleep. I'd have been tired this morning even if I'd gotten 8 hours. One more day, then a super early jury duty (unless it gets canceled, my fingers are crossed), then a short shift, then a day off. Not that I'm counting...
The shoppers have been really nice, other than the very polite lady who returned $104.92 worth of product after a week and now I having trouble selling those 7 door stop Scottie dogs. grrr
She needed 15 plush total for her 15 ice skating students, at $10 each. But those kids will get them home, and their moms will notice the "this is not a toy, for decorative use only" that I only noticed yesterday. Luckily we did sell through them.
