My trip to Washington, day 2

We woke Thursday to three roosters crowing “I’m the best!” “No, I’m the best!” “No! I’m the best!” without stopping. Horses, ponies, and sheep roamed the yard as well as the roosters, chickens and oh so many colorful chicks.

Glad you manage to steal some time at the beach, some lovely moments in what sounds a really stressful visit.

It wasn't actually that stressful. Crazy, but not stressful.

You're going to need another shower after cleaning all that.
The air must be wonderfully clean.

I had a couple of tablespoons of dish soap, one sponge we were using to clean the dishes, one wash cloth for our faces, and a few towels. I had nothing to clean it with. And no real way to wash me when I'd finished. (I'll get to that)
