I was pretty surprised, but I guess this is just how they are. Step-dad's wife got a horrible concussion six moths ago (was thrown from her horse) and someone asked me if she was doing better. I said she seemed kind of out of it. This other person nodded and said how could anyone really tell. "Spacey" is her normal state of mind.

They might still be remembering the first time I visited twenty-some years ago and I was offered Enchiladas. What I got had no meat, cheese, or enchilada sauce. It was just a veggie casserole, I can't remember if tortillas were even involved. I'm afraid I did not hide my dismay very well.

I didn't feel very welcome. But now we no not to give him anything.
