My Christmas drabble collection that would have been longer had I not worked ten hours for three days in a row.

Blue Christmas

"I'll have a blue Christmas without you," Kev sang into the phone.

Jon sighed. "Blue balls won't kill you."

He'd just wish he was dead. "You're doing alright with your Christmas of white..."

"I'm going without too," ( Read more... )

I reset my department today (moved everything back to where it was a month ago) and did the extra cleaning (mopping, not just sweeping). I got a lot done and thought I was doing well... then I remembered the stuff I hadn't even had a change to think about). But now I'm done (I have the next two days off). Christmas is over.

The funny things is that I didn't get enough Christmas music. Writing these drabbles made listening to the music at work less annoying (I'd come up with them while working, and write them on lunches and breaks). I even have one more story (not written) that also incorporates this hard to believe thing that happened to a coworker (but the main character's mother reacts differently). I'll will be based on a song I dislike (It's cold outside: I'm going to try to make it less rapey)

I had a decent Christmas, but I'm more tired than I'd like to be (I worked 30+ hours over three days). Maybe after a good night's rest...

Shop work can kill Christmas.

I've been lucky I had 22hours over three nights before Christmas and off until Sun-night, but now I've got 30 hours over three nights before New Year.

The music didn't bother me as much nearer Christmas I think I felt better once I got all my shopping. gift buying done and could relax more.

Yes there is a very rapey vibe about that song!

Get some rest, enjoy your days off.
