So much stuff

I cut myself the other day. I knew to put the broken glass in the trash BEFORE I threw the rest of the garbage away, keeping in safely in the middle. Only I didn't. So about an hour later, when I pushed down on the trash to see if I could get any more in, I pushed a triangular ¼" thick piece of glass into my wrist. I'm just lucky that I pushed slow ( Read more... )

Glad the glass missed the important innards of your wrist. I wrap glass in newspaper and then into the box packaging from frozen food. *smiles* Don't judge. My son could happily live off Stouffer's Mac & Cheese for life. There's just something disquieting watching your dog helpfully clean up the drops of blood you've left on the kitchen floor as you're on your way to the Emergency Room for stitches on your knuckle.

Less Than Three are going to do your story? Great! They've come up with lovely covers lately.

*Grins* More trees.

Yes, writing.

It just went to show how tired I was. I'm always careful with glass. This wouldn't have fit in anything because the bottom was whole and the biggest piece was shaped like a cartoon of an egg that a chick had just hatched from (but about 8" across). I cut myself on one of the jags. At least I didn't need stitches. (although I had to keep pressure on it for two days before it stopped bleeding).

It's not too bad, but I want my name to be visible in the thumbnail version. At least on the thumbnail size on my 2o-some inch screen.

Wash clothes for now, but later...

A have a few days off the first week of December that aren't already spoken for. Well, aside from another chapter of Trifecta, fixing/finishing Seraglio Guard (prompted by a painting of the same name, but better known as the Moorish Chef), outlining my 1001 nights story (with really needs a better title than The Storyteller), or fixing that threesome in space story with the alien that I posted a 1k version of. Maybe working on all this is why nothing ever feels like it's done.

Ouch, so glad you didn't hurt your wrist worse and that it's almost all healed.

I'm glad to be of help :P crafts are a great way to relieve tension (and the result is something you can hold in your hands contrarily to writing). And maybe once you've put the writing down for a bit you'll take it back and see it wasn't so bad after all.

I guess the people at LT3 are nice so you can at least tell them if you really don't like it. Plus you're quite good at positive communication so I don't think they'd take it too badly if you explained. But maybe the cover will be great and the point moot. I certainly hope so, you deserve a great cover.

I didn't realize how close it was until the bandage was off and I could poke at the scar and feel the important stuff underneath. That's when I got woozy.

I'm working on my fifth washcloth. I switched from straight needles to a circle needle and my tension problems vanished (also I was less likely to get the end of the needle hooked on my pants pocket or sleeve and accidentally yank the needle out of the loops).

Thanks.
