All of my knowledge of Canadian/American black attitudes one from movies and tv and books. I saw the stereotype but was only slightly aware of it. For all I know, that's how someone like Midnight would really act.
I feel a bit like I let you down by not paying attention to it more. Sorry.

Yes, it probably will make it better in the editing but I'm hoping that the term "reaming" is being used as in they politely pointed something out to you but it hurt as almost all crit does.
The fact that they didn't bother to put their name on it would suggest not though. To lower myself to their level, they are a poopyhead.
Intelligent crit that is done well and with tact is priceless. In which case they should have put their name on the damn thing.

I renamed the character Vivian (Viv) and changed how she referred to herself in chapter two, but I'm not confident I've fixed the problem. I might just have plastered over the crack.

Anise might be a cute name too. Aenis is the pronunciation for that and is kind of intriguing.
