This is the week I only worked two days, but this also turned out to be the week that my sons got Thursday and Friday off. I’ve got nothing written and a kitchen full of dirty dishes. Guess what I’m doing next.

I'm liking the way you are making the characters work for this. Possibilities are being looked at and considered and rejected and reconsidered.
*grinning* I'm amused by if Colt uses long sentences with all the words we're use to he gets called on it and made to say it hunter style.
The problem I see is Python is moving into the same vulnerability for the others position that Jaguar had with Orion. If something happens to Python the failsafe is Lion.
They still haven't figured out the why of Jaguar being left to the cat and the others lying about it?

I can't make things too easy for them.

Sometime you just need to speak the language you understand even if the other person doesn't.

Python is better at everything, but Lion can hold his own and Colt is well on his way to learning what he needs to know. But Orion is Orion and he will always need to be taken care of, whether he is in the jungle or in a city or on a space station, while he comes up with amazing ideas that no one has ever understood before. He's lucky his family is super rich. He wouldn't have survived in a poor family in Victorian London or as a farmer's son in the Pioneer West.

Do they need to figure out what happened when Jaguar and Bark were left for the cat? Is that important to the story?

That last about Jaguar and Bark, I thought I read there was some uneasiness amongst the village because of the how it might have happened/why and this was influencing the 4's staying or going or considering staying.

Kite calls a meeting in a few chapters to discuss the situation, but I'd be too easy on my 4 if I let something someone else did effect their decisions. And remember Colt has a mom and little sister that rely on his income.

Ah poor conflicted Colt! I love how you make this real by denying him a quick and easy jungle fairy tale, but make them work out this strange and awkward square they find themselves in *grins*

Thanks. I'm glad that works. I didn't want to be to easy on him. It's more fun to read this way.
