Future nursery plans!

It has been decided that regardless of gender, we are going to decorate the nursery in robot theme with a touch of birds with said robots. And lines/solids for the bedding in nice bright colors (?). The furniture is going to be dark and very modern with crisp angles

Not at all!

I always see the bedding and such in the Target (etc) ads and think how adorable they'd be, but I guess just never thought too much in depth beyond that.

Maybe because I never had a theme myself?? I had Care Bear wallpaper purchased when I was ~3-4 and it sat, still sealed, in the bathroom closet until I was 14 when we were moving and decided to finish the bedroom. There was a chair rail kind of thing down the center of the wall, the top half was painted purple and the bottom was supposed to be the wallpaper. I am still bitter about this not ever getting done. ;)

So I recommend starting to buy gender-neutral things on etsy. My friend and I have started to "stash things" that we like...why wait ya know?

Awesome!! I love that idea. I had started looking on etsy and I know that the artists on there will get a lot of my money lol.

I wanted to start stashing things a loong time ago (always thought that the cute frog baby stuff would be out of style when I finally had a bb but then some of my friends made fun of me so I didn't stash anything up until the past year and really I need to stash more now)

Inara loves robots. She would watch Wall-E all day everyday if we let her... and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, which she calls simply, "Robot".
