This is beautiful...

and Dammit cause Roslin and Six were happy together and they took it away!!

whole idea of stealing parts of the memory (instead of just boxing) is really creepy...

Basically thank you! Cause I love Roslin/Six...

Why thank you for the lovely comments! I tried to keep these two as believable as possible and to built up the reader's curiosity as to what's buggin Six: why Six lost her memory, why dying is the only way for her to know what really happened. Exploring the whole Cylon dynamic is so much fun and I have everybody's opinions to thank for in terms of brain-wankery. :)

And you're very welcome. It's always a pleasure to share these things with you.

obviously I'm terribly remiss on feedback for this fic! what I love most about it is that it leaves so many things ambiguous, really capturing the mysteries of technology/divinity. it works especially well with an anonymous Six, rather than Caprica -- she's more unsettling and alien. and strangely heartbreaking in her remoteness. beautiful and mind-bending story!

this will also serve as your comment on Deus Ex Machina, since I never saw an LJ post for that. you totally got me with the surprise twist! that fic meditates similarly on the nature of identity and reality, which of course I love. it's a fascinating scenario with such rich characterization.

And I'm terribly remiss on replying to comments! Personally, I'm not a big fan of my own story Deus Ex Machina, as I believe it could have been written better. I'm trying to do a re-edit to make the story tighter or at least more coherent.

I'm glad you loved this particular rendition of the pairing and especially of my characterization of Six. She's a wonderful character to write and I love exploring her alien-ness and at once, her attraction to the human race. :) Wonderful of you to drop by. Cheerio!
