Dog Day at Eastwood City

So I ran into two Alaskan Malamutes in Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Eastwood a week or so back. I'm told by their owners that they're the only breed of their kind in the country and that they were given hell to just import them. They're huge dogs, practically as heavy as I am or even heavier. I just think it's irrational to bring Alaskan malamutes into a hot, humid, tropical climate. Their furs are DENSE and made to RESIST cold, HOLD IN heat! Tropics=crazy.

However, I confess to having fallen in love with Boston terriers. Such cuties.

:) Heehee. I'm just so glad these were imported so I can meet 'em! And the owners could pretty much afford the electricity bill. However, I admit that it'd be nice to see 'em frolicking in snow...and pulling sleds!

AWWW! We super duper miss you too! Last night was so nice as she'd taken Kris and me to dinner with Mark. Wish you were.

Usually in summer, these malamutes are indoors most of the time, airconning. ;)

I love that breed. They're such handsome animals. Unfortunately, I can't afford them, or afford the upkeep for such things. Ah, well, I guess I'll settle for my mom's dumb-ass beagle who insists on peeing in front of my room.

It's not a husky. :) They're Alaskan Malamutes. Different breed, luv. These are bigger animals.
