Highlights of yesterday included...

1) Meeting daneorange in meat-space. We had Japanese food at Teriyaki Boy and tea at Likha Diwa. This was one for the books. She's as wonderful in person as she is on Livejournal and I think we need a repeat performance because lazing around on her day off is *love*. I've touched the prolific writer on LJ! Woohoo! oh yeah! i watched 300 also last night and it was awesome..really loved it...and i must agree, i loved that whole oracle scene!!...(apart from all lena heady scenes! hehe)

The Lena scenes were so-so for me but Leonidas totally rocked my socks. The ghey in that film was so gay. I swear...there were women kissing (okay, that was once), and men in campy abs with campy conversations, and campy touching/comaraderie. It was GREAT! *squee*

I watched it FOR the scantily-clad man-bodies! Oh wow. WOW. I was a gay man for the entirety of that film!

He was soooo gay! ;) The fact that Xerxes put his hands on Leonidas' shoulders...I was all...SQUEE! Gayness! Go lock yourselves in a room and make the gay man in me happy! =D

I love the fact that the audience actually recognized the ghey in this movie. I could feel the heightened sense of knowing that there was something campy about it, especially that Xerxes' hands on Leonidas' shoulders scene.
