Lims Update

Ya I know you guys don't reallly care all that much, but I need some friendliness. I just got booted from lotr_lims and I think I'm probably gonna get booted from top icon too. Which sucks. I just havent had a lot of time to icon with exams and such. Anyway, here's my icon.

I think it's downright gorgeous. The problem with icontest communities is the voters like icons that look really conventional--as in they favor good contrast, coloring, sharpness over innovative use of textures, text, etc. Mmm, and I have a particular vendetta against lotr-lims because I was the first to get voted off, and then when I retried in the special challenge I didn't get any love either :(

I think you're right in that when it comes to contests -- the voters can be a bit narrow minded. I NEVER make it far in lotr_lims, it kills me. I got booted really early last time, got back in the special challenge and then had to disqualify myself when i was like, in the final 5. The problem with me is I am not content until I have won. ;p

The icon itself is GORGEOUS, as is the whole layout, but I have to agree that it is a little...white. Like, perhaps erasing with a big brush around his face? IDK. You know you're awesome. And Clair and I agree: THE OTHER ONES SUCK. You should have WON that round, rather than being kicked out. I mean, 9? What the hell is that?

Ya, he's a little white, i actually did erase a lot from his face but i'm guess not enough. AH WELL. such is life eh.

Bleh. LIMS fail, man. I got kicked out of laura_lims like a round ago, and then in the next round? The mod announced there were no eliminations. WHAT THE HELL.

lol, that's like on American Idol when Ryan was all "last year at this point we didnt eliminate anyone." *audiance breaths out* "but this year we are, goodbye!" *cries of shock*
