This is late, I know, but I've got some Thinky Thoughts and Opinions, despite being quite busy the past couple of days.

( Here be spoilers, for books as well as show. )

Two things.

1) Syrio completely stole the episode for me. Holy shit. Like, wow.

2) I think the Dany/Khal thing fell flat because of the way their relationship started in the movies. In the books (I don't know if you've read them, so my apologies if I'm telling you what you already know), there's a much more gradual, linear development.

It fell flat because they jumped right from "RAPE!" to "LOVE!" with none of the development that's in the books. They started it where they needed to start it at, IMHO, for the TV series, since it would've been even weirder to start it with "oh she really liked the first time!" and then "RAPE!" But... whatevs. Overall, it's a minor complaint. XD

Hated that Dany didn't get to say they were taking Viserys horse and that no one called Jon Snow a bully. Keeping that one Ned and Arya scene totally made up for it, though.

I think they made it pretty clear that Jon was a bully, though. No complaints on that front.

I was mad that they didn't even bother to give us a single shot of Ghost, though. We haven't seen him since Jon pulled him out of the snow in the pilot! How absurd.
