Since moving to Florida, I've noticed that my allergies no longer bother me as much as they used to. The only time it's bad is in the spring when one of the native trees drops seeds & they build up into little piles & it blows through the air. The thing is that as soon as we get a good rain, it all goes away. :)

Hmmm... must be that salt air.

Don't forget that it's really moist here also, so mold & mildew is a big problem. I live about two miles from the water & the moisture in the air has turned my spices into big clumps. I have a box of powder Tide that I have to chisel to use because it's all stuck together. :)

Regardless, Key West is awesome & would be a great place to retire to.
