I was a little worried there.

You and me both!

I didn't mind some of Season 5. There was some good stuff in there and if 2 of 38D had been shoved aside once in a while, the good sub-plots could have really come through and made it a season to be proud of.

Alas, silicone wins yet again.
(God only knows what I'll do when writing season 5 of Simple Liberties... maybe one of them could burst... *g*)

Don't worry. The Borg will never get me! fritz42 February 11 2007, 12:19:30 UTC
I think what the problem was I had determined that I would hate the episodes that I had boycotted as much as I hated the ones I had seen. I basically stopped watching Voyager at this point in the 5th season because Braga had pissed me off so much ( ... )

Season 4 is DONE baby! *dances* I'm in the painfully long stage of editing now. Gah.

Unfortunately, the worst part of Voyager from Season 5 onwards was the fact that Kathryn went away and the Captain because a bit of a hardass. I admit it, that's why I liked Workforce and Fair Haven so much - Bad JC shipper *Slaps wrist* - because we got to see Kathy, not Captain Janeway.

I hope you got the taxes all sorted, I know what a PITA they can be! *hug*

Season 4 was fantastic! What a great job you did.

I have about 6 more episodes of Season 5 left, and I have to say Kate does a great job of playing "The Captain," but I sorely miss "Kathryn." I can understand why those episodes are dear to your heart.

Taxes are now all sorted out. Thank God, but now it is all the stupid forms for financial aid. With both #1 daughter and now #1 son being in college this fall, I am flooded with forms everywhere. The major form is completed on-line, so that is nice. Once I get #1 daughter's form completed, I can use that information to fill in #1 son's. Not that they will get much financial aid, but every little bit helps.

I am home ill again today. Geesh! I have only missed 3 days of work because of illness in five years, and two of them have been in the last week. Stupid UTI!

Drinking water until it comes out my ears,

I always wondered how she got into that costume and breathed. Honestly, I found Voyager to be almost as good as TNG.

No, I would never throw things. *smiles* I enjoyed many aspects of Voyager and have basically loved all of the Star Treks, except for the parts that Braga screwed up.

I, too, have wondered how she got into that suit. And are the shoes connected to the legs? I have also wondered if that waistline is natural. Her shape is too reminiscent of a Barbie Doll, which we know isn't naturally achievable. The character needed more realistic clothing. *watches men drool*

I think I remember reading something about the costume being boned with corset but I could be wrong. I didn't think there would be that many people with figures like that in space. Too many spaceships would be hitting asteroids if you saw that on a regular basis.

She looked better as the Borg.

Too bad she couldn't keep her grubby hands off Chakotay. I don't think I'd despise her as much.

And yes, her Borg costume was better. ;-)

You know, I had a similar reaction when I heard Heath Ledger was going to be the Joker. O_o I'd like to know who came up with that idea. Maybe there will be extra string available beside George and Alicia. I'll reserve my final option if/when I see it. But, it will be close to impossible to outdo Jack Nicholson.

How was manipulating those markets? I get to fill out more financial forms this afternoon. There was a definite reason why I did not go into this field, yet here I am. Would that be a form of Murphy's Law or some really bad karma?
