Saturday night AJ and I went to see Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys at the Birchmere. It was a much larger (sold-out) crowd than last time we saw him, back in October. And to think that in my three weeks of almost no tv whatsoever, I missed Homer and the crayon.

What do those newcomers know about Ralph Stanley anyway? Just latecomers and wannabes. I might buy the O brother CD though, and maybe see the movie. But I won't pretend knowledge I just don't have.

Trip back was uneventful, although I am more than usually jet-lagged and confused today. Just ask Sara who has talked to me twice and had one message from me today. She gets a different (more or less coherent) sister each time
we talk. Need to go to the grocery store, but manuevering a vehicle in traffic is not my idea of fun at the moment.

Off to research naked, con men neighbors--oh wait, I think maybe I've created a new composite type. Oh well the fog will clear soon.
