For the last 9 years I have marched in the Pride Parade, and worked at the Pride Festival like clockwork. Giving my heart and my all for the Faeries. This year, given the dearth of faeries involved in stuff, we just couldn't get our shit together in time and for the first time we had no parade contingent, and no Tarot readers at the festival ( Read more... )

I happened to watch the parade this year and I just happened to decide to watch at 18th and NH. So I ran into a bunch of Faeries right after the parade ended. I wish I would have wandered a bit farther north and run into you as well... I had hoped to see you!

Dang! We seriously tried to get there, but the parade itself was awkward to get around. :( We'll be at the festival today just hanging out. If you're going to be around you can call me or email me.

I'm planning on meeting a bunch of kinksters @ the top of Archives-Navy Memorial Metro @ noon. After doing the festival with them (and getting tested for HIV if they have a station @ the festival), I'll give you a ping.

there is not enough sincere riotous joy in the world, and I think you are right on..if there was more joy in recognition, in doing what we do... I think we'd all be in a much better mental state.
