Yesterday I had the full intention of pushing through the entirety of the day to avoid the pitfall of excessive jetlagged sleeping. And on that front I succeeded. Hurrah! I am so missing DC right now. This is my favourite time of the year there.

I work for a gemstone and bead place and I've seen the images from the Natural History Museum...I totally would have gone there to drool on the Chalk Emerald Ring. And the Hope Diamond. And all those other pretty sparklies :)
