Wedding Fever

Yesterday I was out sick from work, and I slept most of the day. Unfortunately this resulted in me not getting to sleep until about 4:00 a.m. this morning. I was rolling and rolling and tossing and turning and my brain would not stop thinking

about getting married.

I know. I know. I know. But the planning should still happen.

And you will graduate this summer. You can make it happen. Believe that.

We've already agreed that we're going to have a wedding, and we've already discussed some of the ideas for the wedding, but the final date keeps getting put on hold due to JD's graduation requirements and hope for him getting a job out of school. So, yes, congratulations are in order, but the final whens and wheres are still to be determined.

Funny, I was up till 4 am last night with insomnia, too. (I'm really not an insomniac. I get insomnia once every couple of years. Last night was the night, it seemed.) Couldn't get my brain to STFU.

But I was worrying over finances and jobs and careers and my life and its direction. And, yes, a little over fandom as well, as you can see from the post I made in an attempt to get some sleep. (Ended up replying to a post on someone's journal and then writing a short fic at their urgings. But when a Doctor Who fangirl who has written 13 novels [I think some of them official, printed, novels, if not all.] tells you that you should write a fic around a concept, you do it.)
