I fixed my iPod fuckers!! I cracked it open armed with vague instructions from the internet and I was prepared to swap harddrives with another broken diepod. I musta scared it cuz right after I finally got the case open I hit the click wheel by accident and what do ya know, it started to work. I was able to get it to connect to my mac and

It sounds like a key in the IPod got stuck and that's what caused your issue. On multiple occasions I've purchases electronic devices then had the same issue occur. (Key's sticking)

The bottom line is that Apple should properly test there hardware before shipping it out of the factory instead of taking pictures on the assembly line.
