ninjababe and I were watching the newest BBC/Masterpiece Theater adaption this weekend, and the burning question of the night ended up being: what did they feed Margaret's goldfish? I kid you not. These are are deep issues that weigh heavy upon our minds [g]

You got me curious - whilst I did not find an exact listing of Victorian era goldfish food - they are opportunistic feeders and will eat shelled peas, blanched leafy green vegetables, bloodworms and brine shrimp. Sounds like really just about anything!

This is too funny! I actually expected the gold fish bowl to break in the carriage, and after it was all over, we realized we'd spent a whole lot of time wondering about those fish!

HeeHee! I did too. Or at least spill over. I kept thinking..all those hours in a bumpy cart, there's no way it would make it intact and full of water. Also, how tired would they get of holding that thing?
