Weddings and Such

So, I went to a friend's wedding today.  It was nice.  At the wedding, I ran into a bunch of people I haven't seen for way too long.  Friends I was absolutely lousy at keeping in touch with.  So it was nice to catch up with them.  Really nice.  Hopefully, we'll stay in better contact, but... well, I have my doubts

Well, that's my mum. Not the most delicate of people when it comes to the things she says.

At least it wasn't said to be cruel. If she had meant to be cruel, I would have been seriously offended, rather than just raised my eyebrow at her and going off to sit with people closer to my age who *wouldn't* say such things.
