I beat Skirr to it. Anyway, horribly embarrassed about posting this because I'm always afraid my characterization will be off. It probably is, but ignore it, okay? Anyway, happy first post day.

eienyoruameA/N: The following sentences are totally unrelated to one another, because my skills aren't leet enough to make interconnected sentences. Constructive criticism is always nice, as is...well..pretty much everything. ...Did I mention the boysmex? Or is that even necessary at this point? ...I feel ridiculous.
1. Comfort
He figured it had started when he was in the detention center, when Wright had shown that he truly believed in him as a person, that he was willing to stake just about anything on what seemed a hopeless trial -- and now...now he found himself grasping for that feeling, that seemingly perpetual comfort that Wright's simple presence gave to him.
2. Kiss
It took him a moment to realize that it was Wright who was kissing him, and by the time he did notice, he had already pulled away, blushing like mad and looking much more embarrassed than he should have to; he made as if to apologize, but Edgeworth let him know it wasn't necessary with another kiss.
3. Soft
Phoenix often ran his fingers through Miles' hair; sometimes Miles asked him why he did it, to which he would always reply: 'it's soft.'
4. Pain
He knew that Miles had a habit of bottling things up, so he had been mildly prepared for the moment, but when it finally happened...he had no idea that there was that much Miles had kept in him.
5. Potatoes
Phoenix looked away from the plate, set his face in a mock-pout and pushed away from the table; "Miles, you know I hate potatoes."
6. Rain
Edgeworth always drove home to pick up another jacket and fetch an umbrella before running back outside to catch a bus that would allow him to intercept Wright on his walk home -- the defense attorney had a nasty habit of forgetting a coat, especially when it rained -- he didn't mind though, it gave him an excuse to meet up with Wright outside of court.
7. Chocolate
"I, uh, brought this up for you -- since you've been feeling kinda down lately, and it's that...thing...that, uh, makes you feel better...since, well..." he trailed off at Miles' firm glare, set the box of chocolate on the meticulously clean desk and hurried out of the office.
8. Happiness
It was insane, what Wright was doing to him with even trying -- insane that Wright had no idea that he felt so...happy and content around him
9. Telephone
Phoenix Wright felt horribly ridiculous, struggling to carry multiple shopping bags while blathering on about 'making sure it was a surprise,' and checking that 'everything was in order' -- while hoping the battery on his cell phone didn't die before he had a chance to tell Maya that it was Miles Edgeworth's birthday they were setting up for.
10. Ears
He always knew exactly what to say to get Wright's ears and face that adorable shade of pink, and while he was highly amused that Wright got so flustered, he nearly died when he found out that the assistant -- Maya -- found it just as funny as he.
11. Name
He couldn't remember a time when the name slid so easily off his tongue.
12. Sensual
He felt Phoenix shiver under his touch and an odd sensation skittered up his spine; they were hardly doing anything, but it still managed to seem so sensual.
13. Death
Phoenix looked over in concern at his partner (the frightened noises he made in his sleep had caused Phoenix to wake) and sighed, rubbing Edgeworth's back in what he hoped was a soothing manner; he felt bad, he really did, because even after proven innocent, Edgeworth still had nightmares about his father's death.
14. Sex
Watching the two in the courtroom was getting boring, so Maya began to analyze their behavior as best she could -- until she came to the conclusion that they worked up so much tension between them just so they could release it in more...enjoyable ways after court was adjourned.
15. Touch
They really weren't the most affectionate pair in the city, but he supposed that it was this lack of show that made every other touch so much sweeter.
16. Weakness
Edgeworth supposed he was mildly annoyed that Wright knew two of his weaknesses (earthquakes and heights), but he couldn't bring himself to be too resentful every time Wright laughed at him, because he always managed to do a bang up job of rectifying his mistake.
17. Tears
He didn't know how to make Miles feel better, how to help ease his load, and his uselessness brought tears to his own eyes.
18. Speed
His fingers dug into the leather of the seat, his eyes closed hard in terror -- when he said he'd help Wright learn to drive, he had not meant for him to go as fast as he liked on the outer roads.
19. Wind
"Too band it's not a convertible...the wind would make your hair all messy and swept back and it'd look brilliant," Phoenix said, tapping the hood of the car.
20. Freedom
Phoenix wasn't sure he understood what Edgeworth was saying when he talked about real freedom, but it always ended well for him so he wasn't sure he cared.
21. Life
Edgeworth knows that Wright can't really understand what sort of life he had lead up until recently, but he also knows that Wright is trying and he figures that's what really matters.
22. Jealousy
When Wright flipped over how much time he was spending with Gumshoe and how he should be here with him, doing personal things that he couldn't do with Gumshoe, he would laugh, then say that he was only getting a quick breakfast and that he was more than willing to do those personal things now if he still wanted to.
23. Hands
At first he couldn't stand Wright touching him, couldn't stand the feel of the man's hands on him, but now he found he was inclined to actually seek that out, found that he even incited the action on more than a few occasions; he wasn't sure how it happened, but he didn't mind anymore.
24. Taste
He couldn't say he was surprised to find out that Miles had a lingering aftertaste of tea.
25. Devotion
Edgeworth had tried to figure out why Wright was so senselessly devoted to his clients -- but it wasn't until he was accused of murder that he began to understand.
26. Forever
"Forever is a stupid word, Wright -- nothing, no matter how wonderful, can outlast eternity."
27. Blood
It was getting harder to keep the blood in his head around the prosecutor -- every little action made him dizzy and hot and it was beginning to drive him crazy.
28. Sickness
A hacking cough rattled through the room and Phoenix rubbed at his stuffy nose; he looked over at the sleeping Miles and sighed -- he really didn't want him to get sick too.
29. Melody
Edgeworth had been humming the tune all day and the annoyingly catchy melody was now stuck in Wright's head.
30. Star
He had been incredulous at first, to hear that Miles had never seen a shooting star, so he took it as an opportunity -- he'd be the one with Miles when he finally did.
31. Home
Edgeworth was getting frustrated, he shouldn't be so comfortable in Wright's apartment, shouldn't feel so warm and safe sharing a bed with him -- it shouldn't feel like home.
32. Confusion
The first time Phoenix kissed Miles, he had been confused -- he hadn't known why Phoenix had felt the need to do that -- but now that he was the one who initiated the kissing and most everything else, he wondered why he bothered second guessing Phoenix's motives at all.
33. Fear
He was getting desperate, and he knew that people were noticing -- the constant questioning, the concerned gestures -- and he knew that must mean that he was noticing it, too; but he thought it was okay, after all, it was natural to be a little afraid when you were about to confess something so radical to someone so perfect.
34. Lightning/Thunder
The shock must have been like getting struck by lightning -- when they suddenly began attacking a testimony in unison like a pair of mad dogs; however, this only happened when the defense could get the prosecution to believe the witness they had called was the guilty party.
35. Bonds
Phoenix shifted uncomfortably, looking everywhere but directly ahead of him -- it had been years since he had last seen Miles, there was no way he'd remember that bond they had in fourth grade.
36. Market
He hated going to the supermarket, Miles never told him what he wanted, so he had to guess.
37. Technology
He looked down at the full-color photo of him and Miles, then back at his partner; "How come all the photos presented as evidence are black and white, when we've had the technology to take color photos for years?"
38. Gift
Nervously (though he didn't let it show, after all, he was the cool and confident Miles Edgeworth), he handed the gift over...he had no idea what Wright liked.
39. Smile
He'd do anything to get that rare, soft smile on his lover's face.
40. Innocence
Sometimes, Wright truly came across as naive and horribly innocent; on the other hand, some little part of him really enjoyed ripping that out of the man.
41. Completion
Miles could hardly believe what he was seeing, after taking days to finally complete his five-deck cardhouse, Wright was tearing it down with all the glee of a kitten.
42. Clouds
He had never watched the clouds until Wright had forcibly brought him to the park and pushed him onto his back in the grass; looking at them now, he was lost as to why he hadn't.
43. Sky
Phoenix had this habit of looking at the sky when he walked (neither a smart nor safe thing to do), so he often found himself grateful that Miles walked with him to make sure nothing too bad happened to him.
44. Heaven
The birthday card closed with a snap and Miles looked up, his mouth curved into that infuriating smirk; "Heaven in my eyes, huh, Wright?"
45. Hell
It was hell getting to court when you were eleven miles from the courthouse when you didn't have a car and were low on money for a taxi, so he was always glad when Edgeworth offered him a ride.
46. Sun
He hated the beach, all that sun and sand and the crowds, but Phoenix had insisted he come, and so he had.
47. Moon
Phoenix made him sleep by the window, aftre asking why, he was told it was because he liked to watched the moon 'reflect' off his skin and hair.
48. Waves
It came on in waves, his affection for him had, except these waves didn't recede like the ones in the ocean did.
49. Hair
Edgeworth loved the way Wright's hair fell in the morning, possibly one of the few times wasn't gelled back into that horrible style.
50. Supernova
"I swear, Wright -- yes, you can hold me to this, so stop it -- I won't 'go supernova' on you anytime soon," Edgeworth promised, relunctantly hugging the ecstatic defense attorney back.
